The Change Mavericks are a community of experienced senior leaders with a passion for leadership and change. The community allows members to step back from the everyday grind to consider a bigger picture.
As a Change Maverick you'll connect to a greater sense of purpose and learn from peers outside your current network. You'll elevate your thinking on a regular basis, positioning yourself for advancement and greater impact in your organisation and career.
The objectives of the Change Mavericks community are to:
Organisations need people willing to think outside engrained corporate norms. They need people courageous enough to challenge the status quo and lead tough conversations that open minds to new possibilities. They need visionaries who lift their gaze beyond a restrictive present to a clear, inspiring future. They need pragmatists who can reset the metrics for success and redefine productive means of operating.
The Change Mavericks will inspire, teach and challenge you to confidently live this way of thinking and leading.
The same thinking, with the same people, in the same environment gets you the same results. Different, better performance and results require an external catalyst. The Change Mavericks can be this catalyst for you. It will also be fulfilling and fun!
You must be an experienced senior leader with ample leadership experience. A diversity of backgrounds is encouraged to enrich conversations but there are a few criteria for joining. Huw will advise once you register your interest.
Each virtual session will start with a discussion topic that Huw will identify in advance. Topics will centre around Huw's expertise: behaviour change, senior leadership, strategic thinking, governance and organisational dynamics. We'll discuss that month's topic at the beginning of the session, sharing reflection and the diverse perspectives of the group.
The second part of the session will be decided by others. This is an opportunity to share any leadership, strategic, organisational or career challenge or opportunity you have. This is where the wisdom of the group comes into play.
An optional, moderated chat group will be available for all participants to join, share goals, success and challenges. This adds to the engagement and inspiration you'll derive from the community.
Replays of virtual sessions can also be accessed, in case you missed a session or want to re-watch any (access to replays will be limited to the community only and removed within three months of recording).
